Recognized in the 19th century by the C & O Canal, Cabin John has been home to roughly 2,300 people. Adjacent to the Potomac River, the Cabin John area is a woodsy community with over 700 homes in the Bethesda area. It’s natural beauty and active community has encouraged a long-lasting tradition of supporting its neighbors in the D.C. community. The Cabin John community participates in special events like Blood Drives, 4th of July Parade, Spring Egg Hunt and more. Eric has had numerous friends and family members who live here and taken advantage of the local trails and access to the Potomac river for trail runs and kayaking. After a workout, you will find Eric at Fish Taco or the Market on the Boulevard which is a local Gourmet Delicatessen and Beer & Wine shop. There are also several other restaurants, a couple of markets, a beauty salon, a dry cleaners, a neighborhood pool and a post office. In addition, the Montgomery County Recreation Department operates the Clara Barton Community Center, which offers activities, an exercise room, a summer camp and special events. Eric has been a supporter of ‘The Village News’ which is the news paper which serves the all residents of Cabin John.
