With walking access to Adams Morgan, Foggy Bottom, and the West End, Dupont is one of the most accessible and centrally located neighborhoods in D.C. When I first moved to D.C., Dupont Circle was my home for three years. It’s prime location was a perfect introduction to the District and is still one of my favorite areas in the city. Home to the Phillips Collection, which houses the fantastic Tryst Cafe, Dupont is a mecca of artistic expression, classic architecture, and young professionals. Head over to Kramerbooks & Afterwords to pick up a great read and an even better cup of coffee! For those who seek a break from the bustling city life, Dupont is perfectly located alongside Rock Creek Park which offers running and biking trails that weave seamlessly throughout the city. For a midday breath of fresh air, take your lunch over to the famed Dupont Circle fountain, the perfect spot to soak up all that this neighborhood has to offer!
