As the unusual name suggests, Arlandria is bordered by Arlington and Alexandria, creating a blend of the best of both areas. Throughout the neighborhood, there are many restaurants with bold flavors from all different cultures. Among these are RT’s, Shakthi South Asian Cuisine, and the Waffle Shop, with its infamous awning that boasts the misspelled name “Waffle Shop.”
 
If this isn’t enough to impress, the town was also the subject of the Foo Fighters’ song, “Arlandria.” To the north, Four Mile Run borders the neighborhood, creating a beautiful scene for a walk on one of the trails in Four Mile Run Wetland Reserve.
